Allison Edrington is a freelance journalist based out of Eureka, Calif., in Humboldt County. After working in the newspaper industry for about four years at local publications, she opted to write strictly freelance to expand her skill set and audience. Her work has focused on business, education, crime and city government. She is also an avid baker, gamer and crocheter and has written on those topics and others through Demand Media Studios.
Edrington graduated California State University, Chico, in 2008 with a bachelor's in journalism and a minor in history, and she is currently working toward an associate's in business from College of the Redwoods.
